Shaping a Street Facade with Hand-Crafted Bricks
Fetter Lane

Maria Gasparian Studio and Creative Brick Solutions recently contributed together to the redevelopment project of Edenica at 100 Fetter Lane, designed by Fletcher Priest Architects, through the creation of bespoke sculptural motifs into the building’s façade. Maria Gasparian brought a series of bespoke special-shaped brick slips to life, giving the building a distinct street-level identity. The motifs were created through a combination of 3D printing and hand-making processes.

Careful attention was given to material continuity: the clay was sourced to precisely match the surrounding brickwork, allowing the bespoke elements to integrate seamlessly within the architectural fabric. The resulting façade is both tactile and expressive, creating a recognisable and contemporary intervention that is rooted in its context.
