Short Film - Randall Pattern Play

This short film made by Floro Azqueta explores the story and the processes behind the creation of the Randall Pattern Play, a work of public art created by Maria Gasparian for Wandsworth Council. Curated by Susie Gray, the project is inspired by local craft heritage and was developed with the engagement of the local community.

Randall Pattern Play was publicly launched on 3rd October 2025. Art events drawing on the designs that inspired the installation were run for residents. Children and parents enjoyed the opening and were pleased with the new public space. The colourful installation enriches the social space between the buildings on the estate and will leave a lasting positive impact on the community of Randall Close.

The project was shortlisted for the UK Brick Awards 2025.
